Congratulations on your admission to SU Abroad.
You have a lot to do before you can get on the plane! But if you start now with these 3 steps, you’ll manage just fine.
- First, reserve your space in the program by completing Acceptance Form 1 and paying the advance deposit. You must pay the advance deposit within 10 days of your acceptance to the program. This fee does not apply to Discovery Florence students. (Please click here for more information.) This also generates an SU ID number, which will give you access to your personal account on the SU system.
- Second, look at the student visa information for your program country. A study visa for a semester or longer is required for every country where SU has programs (only England allows students to study for up to 6 months without a visa)! Some countries have procedures that require submitting visa applications 8 weeks before the overseas program begins.
- Third, begin completing and submitting the other Acceptance Forms so we can serve you better abroad. The information we request is important! Your housing preferences, your health information, your insurance coverage—all this can be vitally important to your well-being.
